Essential Oils are very concentrated plant oils and contain very tiny molecules that can penetrate the skin easily making them extremely useful in baths, steams, sprays, and skin care. They will trigger the memory, delight the senses, and ease the emotions! Almost all essential oils are antiseptic in quality, and have very effective medicinal uses. They also have a very high frequency, which easily raises your frequency and promotes healing.
Essential Oils are volatile oils derived by steam distillation from fresh plant materials, using leaves, stems, flowers, or roots. They are HIGHLY CONCENTRATED and should always be using with care and kept away from children. Essential oils will evaporate unlike fixed oils, and should be stored properly. Whenever possible they should be kept in tightly sealed, dark amber bottles, out of direct sunlight and excessive heat.
BEST Ways to Use Pure Essential Oils:
~ Add 5-10 drops in the bath, add after the bath has filled and agitate to disperse. For best results, dissolve mineral or sea salts in the water first. Soak for 10-20 minutes.
~ Use in a Footbath, or even plug the drain in your hot shower and add a few drops to the water. Brathe IN the steam, plus absorb through the bottom of your feet!
~ Add 15-30 drops to a base oil (such as almond, olive, sesame, coconut oil) and use as a massage oil, muscle rub, or bath oil! Great for aches and pains!
~ As a Steam Inhalant, place a few drops in a bowl of steaming hot water, place a towel over your head, and carefully breathe in steam! (keep your eyes closed). Repeat as often as necessary.
~ Add a few drops to a potpurri steamer and light a candle underneath!
~ Put a few drops on a tissue or your pillow case at night and inhale when needed.
~ Add some oils to a clean spray bottle with water and little bit of alcohol, shake and spray to clean the air of virus's and germs! Freshens a room instantly and soothes the senses.
~ For headaches, rub a few drops on the temples, back of neck, or under the ear.
~ As a room freshener (or car) place a few drops on a light bulb ring, or an aroma diffuser.
~ A few drops in a vaporizer or humidifier can help clean the air, kills bacteria.
~ Add a few drops to the rinse cycle when washing bed sheets or towels.
~ Sprinkle a few drops in trash cans, drains, compost buckets, closets, toilets, etc.
~ Place a few drops on a cotton ball and place in shoes, closets, drawers, cupboards.
~ A few drops on your vacuum filter will leave a refreshing aroma.
~ Sprinkle into potpurri to re-freshen. Use in soaps, perfume and candle making!
~ Place a few drops in the car to refresh, relieve stress and awaken the senses!
~ Add a nice combination to epsom salts or course sea salts for a great bath salt! (try using lavender, eucalyptus and rosemary together - my favorite!)
Some of my favorite oils to always have on hand are: Lavender (has over 100 medicinal uses!), Eucalyptus, Rosemary, Ylang Ylang, Frankencense, Myrrh, Clove bud (great for toothaches),
Orange Oil, and Tea Tree Oil. Try the mints like pepermint, wintergreen, spearmint for a fresh pick me up! More later on the difference qualities of each oil!
