Appearance:

Mixed color iris. Lacunae and honeycombs positioned in a "daisy petal' or geometric
pattern around the collarette.  You will see tight fibres underneath.
Lacunae may be open or closed, small or large.

Potential Characteristics:

Weakness in the glandular system, mainly thyroid, adrenals, pituitary glands and
pancreas. Decreased hormonal or endocrine glandular function.
Weakness in the endodermal lining of the gastrointestinal system causing problems with
glandular secretions and irregularity of the bowels.
Possible weakness in heart, liver, kidneys.
The larger the lacunae the greater the organic and congenital degeneration of the glands.

Smaller lacunae are evidence of more functional disturbances of the glands.
More blood sugar variations and mineral imbalances mainly because of thyroid and
parathyroid imbalances.
In women there may be menstrual irregularities and often premature menopause or
fertility problems.
In men there may be more prostate and adrenal gland disturbances.
Basal metabolism disturbances.
Central nervous system problems eg. fluid retention, blood pressure fluctuation, body
weight fluctuations, low drive/motivation and need for extra sleep.
When the development of the endocrine system is poor in children conditions such as
juvenile adiposity, growing retardation and stress related juvenile asthma can develop.
Alternatively more problems may occur after the age of 50 due to the genetic weakness.
Flower Pattern: (Rayid) Emotionally oriented, changeable, social, spontaneous people
with an excitement for life who can burn out without sufficient rest. They need to be aware
of their own particular yardstick, with how much they can get away with, ie where their flag
is. Recuperation time is necessary to replenish their energies.

Nutritional & Lifestyle Considerations:

Reduce rich or heavy foods, clogging foods and eating late at night.
In some cases food combining principles should be followed.
Long fasts are not recommended. Maintain blood sugar balance by eating complex
carbohydrates and protein. To maintain an even blood sugar level through the day it is
recommended to eat five small meals a day and a protein breakfast.
