This beautiful Iris shows us someone with a strong constitution, but a tendency to hold tension
and stress in the body, needing more B-vitamins.  Also shows poor intestinal integrity with a
tendency for leaky gut.
Brown or Hematogenic Eyes

Brown eyes are the most common iris type found in the world.  Brown eyes may appear as light brown, medium, dark, or
black brown.  They are an even color when viewed with a magnifier or microscope, without areas of differing color
pigmentation.  Mixed color eyes (see page…..) are often mistaken for brown eyes; but close examination will
reveal areas of various genetic color other than brown.

Common Physical Tendencies
If your ancestors have passed on the genes for brown eyes, they have also passed on a certain likelihood for physical
conditions.  As previously stated, this does not mean that those with blue or mixed color irises cannot experience these
same conditions, nor does it carry a certainty that you will.  The evidence through historical study is that people with brown
eyes are predisposed most typically to conditions of the blood.  These include difficulty with iron metabolism, varicose veins,
arteriosclerosis, liver and gall bladder congestion, digestive disturbance, blood serum and glandular disorders, and
cholesterol plaque build up in veins and arteries.  Often the liver malfunction and toxicity can lead to skin conditions.
Heart and circulation symptoms are not uncommon, particularly due to tendency for inorganic salt and cholesterol plaque
buildup.  The blood of the person with a hematogenic eye is good, warm blood that tends to be viscous due to nitrogenous
wastes and uric acids.  In some, the liver/gallbladder connection can lead to stomach and bowel symptoms.  Thyroid
function is quite often disturbed.

The liver is the largest gland in the body and is in charge of at least 500 duties that we know of.  It produces an alkaline
digestive juice called bile which is stored in the gallbladder.  Approximately one fourth of the body’s blood supply is in the
liver when a person is at rest.  This gives you a glimpse of the association of the liver and your blood.  Being the chemical
plant of the body, the liver receives blood from the portal system and converts nutrients into useable products for your health.
It is in charge of protein production and storage, as well as the control of by-products of protein metabolism.  The liver also
forms glucose from noncarbohydrates and converts glucose to glycogen.  It oxidizes fatty acids and synthesizes
lipoproteins, phospholipids and cholesterol. The list of your liver’s weighty jobs goes on and on.
The good news is that, knowing your potential predispositions, you can take preventive measures.  This means changes in
diet, proper supplementation, and awareness of emotional stressors.

Appearance:
Circular rings or half rings spread throughout the iris.
Also called cramp rings, nerve rings, contraction furrows, sensitivity rings, or accomplishment rings. Caused by a buckling
of the fibres due to prolonged excessive stress.  Can be seen in any colour iris.

Potential Characteristics:

Neuro muscular tension primarily of a psychosomatic aetiology. These individuals often create lots of stress in their lives;
feel victimised by their stress. Inclined toward "Type-A" behaviour often highly diversified, motivated, ambitious. They have
many things going on at once. and this tension is usually of psychosomatic origin.
Accomplishment Rings: (Rayid) Productive drive and nature, in a state of tension and being wound up. Inflexible. Needs lot
of support and reassurance. Needs to take action on specific areas in their life so they can let go and relax.
Often lured towards the use of artificial stimulants in order to compensate for the decline in natural energies. This also
masks any symptoms of needed rest. This behaviour weakens vital dynamics and helps bring about more complaints
Signs may include depression, mood swings, crying, hysteria, other emotional expressions.
Gastrointestinal disorders such as ulcers, colitis, nervous stomach, intestinal spasms.
Conditions such as colitis, tachycardia, angina, circulatory disorders, spinal subluxation, temporal-mandibular joint
disorders, blood sugar metabolism errors.
Possible headaches, heart stress, hyperthyroidism, muscle tension.
Interruption to contraction furrows suggests the area where cramp like pains may appear eg. uterus, bladder, indicating
possible disturbance in the calcium balance. Deep rings indicative of potassium deficiency. Shallow rings indicative of
magnesium deficiency.

Nutritional & Lifestyle Considerations:

Eliminate all artificial stimulants including sugar.   B-vitamins are essential!
Adequate rest and relaxation: 20 minutes rest daily. A regular sleeping pattern is important.
Exercise is vital.  Stress reduction; meditation, yoga or Tai Chi..
Massage therapy, flower essences, acupuncture are more suited to this constitution..
They need to learn to say “NO”.
